Pastor Norman Thomas
Norman Thomas, Jr. is pastor and founder of Norman Thomas Ministries Foundation and New Life Church International, a non-denominational church located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
He is a visionary leader with a passion for empowering people through the Word of God, causing them to live the quality of life that Jesus came to give.
Norman is a dynamic speaker and is capable of reaching diverse audiences.
In addition to his call of ministry, Norman has served as a national accreditation auditor for Juvenile Justice Programs for the American Correctional Association, serves on a variety of human service boards of directors, and is currently appointed to a Governor’s Commissions Board for the Louisiana Office For Addictive Disorders.
Formerly a Juvenile Justice Administration professional for more than 15 years, he and his wife Dr. Debbie Thomas began the ministry in 1999. The most recent addition to the ministry has been the founding of the School Of Faith Bible Institute with satellite campuses here in Louisiana, Texas, Nairobi and Embu, Kenya, and Belize and Panama, Central America.
Norman Thomas can be heard each weekday by way of the Faith For This Generation radio and television broadcast.
Norman and Debbie have two sons, Norman Thomas, III and Jordan D. Folse-Thomas . They live in the Lake Charles area.
